Newbie with Tranny ?

Hey all, I'm new to this site and I have got a question for ya's. I have just installed a fresh trans in my Regal and I am unsure how much fluid I need to put in. Can anybody help me? Also what is the best fluid to run? Car will be beat on from time to time.
