I posted this in the supercharged section and they suggested I post here. Any help would be great.

I'm new to this forum and have been trying to figure the search feature and have yet to come up with the right combination of words to get me what I need to know so I'm starting a new thread.

Did GM make a vehicle since 1990 that had a supercharged engine with RWD? Does anybody have any reccomendation on where I could go to get some basic history of the turbo and supercharged Buick engines? Any help would be great and I will keep pounding the keys.

OBTW: I want to build a GM 1/2 extended truck with a Buick Turbo/SC engine with a 6 sp manual transmission. I want something like a sports car with a really big trunk.

Thanks Lead Sle

gnttype.org, look around there and its links

you could prob do a super-riv/GTP setup that was turned from transverse to longitudinal. Or, check for superchaner/turbo kits for your engine. Supercharger is far more likely to be found. Or, just drop a GN/TTA engine in there.

I don't think you would like a turbo engine and a stick shift.

It's hard to hold boost at the line with a stick shift and also hold the brakes, unless you have 3 feet or a line lock.

With a stick shifts there is a tendency to loose boost during shifting also.

I can't think of a US GM rwd car or truck that was sc'd. Maybe a Holden from downunder.
