Newborn baby beaten to death in Chicago

I am now convinced that after reading this there is nothing people will not do.

What could this baby girl have done to make someone hate her enough to beat her to death. You can't get anymore helpless than a newborn baby.

I hope they find the person/s who did this. This story just makes me sick.

The sad thing is the amount of people that will just shrug their shoulder when they read about this but if it was a litter of newborn puppies beaten and tossed out the internet would explode with people wanting blood.

My wife did her grad school work in Chicago's projects as a social worker, this was probably over 10 yrs ago at least. It's always been bad. She quit after one of the drugged out parents left a newborn alone in their apt only to have rats chew its foot off, wife took the baby to the hospital when she went to check on them. No family structure, gov't dependence, and plenty of drug abuse there.
