I didn't have blown headgasket, still have a leaking rear main, but will get to that soon enough. Now when i drive the car(try to anyway) I give it gas, no go what so ever. It runs, drives but it's missing it's balls.....plan and simple. When i give it some more gas i hear a clunk. I'm really trying to kept this car guys, HA and all. I'm trying to buy a house, really wouldn'twhat to see this car go.

So a bit more info. it just doesn't have any go, I wonder if i put back my Old ECM will it change anything, i might do that just to see. I give it the gas it takes awhile to go and when it does it's worse then a lawnmower
It idles great, a little white smoke 1st 4mins or so then nothing. Idles at 160-170temp, My gas gauge is mest up but IT HAS GAS 93 with MMO. New plugs, wires, coil is good.

Was i suppose to change timing or something when i got the TT chip? maybe i forgot. I have a 86/87 MAF. COuld it be my tranny?

It is time for a scan tool. We need to see some readings which will enable us to help. Borrow one if you need to. Where are you located? Brad

San antonio, just moved back not to long ago from austin. Where can i get one at the lowest price, i've seen some sites have them for more then others for less. I might just get one know that I really would like to have one instead of guessing. My Temp light comes on (flickers then stays on for a sec) but my analog gauge reads 150-160. Maybe a fuel presure gauge aswell. I will admit i do forget the little things that do alot for these cars example scan tool, really forgot about that.

I would start simple and locate a used Scanmaster on the low low cost side. If you are really serious about tuning a Powerlogger is the best. I have both of these tools. Do a little research yourself as well. The best way is to find a knowledgeable local board member and have them give you a hand. The IC cars tune basically the same way-only the locations are different. Brad
