I wen't to the Car Craft Summer Nationals today and there were some very nice cars there. The one I found to be the best looking car there was a Regal (go figure:rolleyes: ). I don't know if the owner frequents here or not but this car was just beutifull! Apparently Car Craft was going to do a shoot on the car this afternoon. I think his name was Jim or James but anyway very cool car!

Here is some pics...

My dad and I talked to him for a few minuets and he was a very nice guy. It is cool to meet guys that build high dollar cars that have the time of day for the average joe like me.

This car was talked about right after the Nationals. I have never seen the car in person but after seeing the pics that were posted before I would have to say this is probably the nicest TR in existance.:D

wow, the way that motor is put together looks soooo clean!!! i dont think ive ever seen a nicer one. wish i could see it in person...

I saw and talked to the owner at a show here in Belvidere. He was a nice guy to talk to, and I'd hope somebody will get that car in a magazine.

 wow.

theres a solution for not having to find the inner fender wells. thats amazingly nice. the engine more then anything, i don't know how you could do that and make it look so perfect. i'd love to be able to do that even though its not even an option for me. we need more eople doing that, it looks great. wish there were more pics of the car, maybe come interior pics.

I am going this afternoon. If I can find that car I will take many hig res pictures of it and post them later.

Best detailed turbo Buick engine compartment I've seen....bar none. It's a stage 2 to boot!

HOW

If the car is being shot for Car Craft I bet they see a huge increase in sales. I never even get that mag any more.

I had my 66 Chevelle featured in it twice a long time ago but since I now have a Buick I don't subscribe any more.

Those were cool, he said that he just made cardboard cutouts and took them to a friend who had them made. I have more pics at home I can post tomorow. I just threw these up quick before I went to work yesterday.

Hey Billdog,
Did the owner say he was from Illinois?? Man I would like to see that thing in person.

I'm guessing you probably saw him at the Boone county fairgrounds car show a few weeks ago?? I was gonna go to that show but instead I went to Byron Dragway and did some racing. I guess I can't feel too guilty for that.....

My bud came along to Byron with his big block Chevelle. We got into it along the way on Rt. 20 and I gave him a taste of what was to come at the track.... SPANK SPANK SPANK! It was funny. I ran a best of 12.69 on radials to his best of 12.69 on slicks. Healthy big block needs tires just keep up with a little V6....

I was ripped!!! I drove down there at 4 PM and it was over already.

He's from Janesville, WI. Right over the border.

Yup, father's day car show.

Hey, if you have a chance, come down to Byron next Sunday (25th). I'm on www.rockfordracing.com and we're getting a track day down there. There's 3 T's going down there. PM me if you want more info.

Saw the car at BG this year. My buddy took a bunch of pictures and I'll see if he can post them. Believe me, this car is nice!

There was no one around when I stopped to take pictures on Sunday, but the tag on the car said Jim Lauer is the owner and he is a guy of singular dedication to Regal Turgo art.

Pure inspiration.

Is that the new ultramini Powermaster?

That is the Ultramini Legmaster, works best when operated with both legs at once. That is one sweet ride.
