those bolts may be for some other cover, allen head aside they arent correct length for stock

These are not stock bolts. You are correct. Should have stated in the ad.

I have stainless Allen Head bolts in mine.I bought them from Earl.

SMH .. the point wasnt that they werent stock or allen ..the point is they are too long to work with stock covers

These bolts are not stock length and are for tall valve covers.
