niose in oil pan

i just got done building my motor and as soon as it warms up there is a knocking noise in the oil pan. i still have the stock crank. has anyone come across a twisted crank before.

Is the oil pan stock?

the pan is still stock, yes.

Maybe the crank is hitting the pan baffle (I hope).

whats weird is that its not the first time i ahve built this motor and the only thing that i have not done is change the crank. and has not made that noise before. i have no idea, im so lost lol.

it also only does it when its hot which is confusing me

Oil pressure when hot?

when cold its around 60. When it warms up off idle its 35 and at idle it drops to around 10

what wt.oil are you running?when you rebuilt the motor what was the clearances on the mains and rods?was the motor making noise before you rebuilt it? what would make you think the crank was twisted?

It was making noise before, and we fixed it with new rockers, nothing else was changed, we are running amsoil oil I dont remember the clearences off hand
