I went for a drive yesterday and took the hwy to Des Moines. It’s been about a year since I’ve had the car on the hwy so I figured it would be good set the cruise and go. Just as I was about to get off the hwy a 300z pulls up to my side and wanted to race. His car looked nice and I was guessing at a 65 mph roll it would probably take off pretty good. I’m not against a little street fun but there was fairly heavy traffic so I just put on my blinker and took my exit. I gave him a thumb up and he did the same. Would I have stood a chance?

It depends. Just like our cars, they can be heavily modded and you can't tell. The guy up the street from where my parents live has one along with a Viper some some other toys. I'd be willing to bet it's modded.
If it was stock, you wouldn't have had a problem.

BTW, this thread should be in kills, no?

It’s not a kill or even a race so posted it here. However the ½ ton GMC with a plate that said 1ROCKET thought he would take me. 1ROCKET did not fair so well. Not sure what he was thinking.

I had a low mile bone stock 91 300zx Twin turbo a couple years ago. I can say that stock it was not impressive at all. I ended up selling the car to buy my WE4. My wife had a 350Z for a few years and it was a pretty quick little car.

A friend of mine has one. Looks all stock but has alot of work done to it. Built motor, upgraded turbos and intercoolers from Stillin, intake and exhaust. Only thing that looked non stock were the 5 inch tips from his HKS exhaust. His sucked from a standstill but from a roll it was a monster.
