Nitrous: Alky instead of fuel

I was thinking the other day, my dad has a separate fuel system for nitrous on his bbc. Wouldnt if make more power and be more efficient to run alcohol instead of fuel with the n2o. More octane and better cooling efficiency so less chance of burning up a piston. Just wondering
