I pulled this discussion off another forum:

Propane and NOS might work pretty good together. You
got to balance the equation and find out what stoic is
with NOS and Propane and go a couple of notches
richer.

If you could design a nozzle with a pre-mix chamber,
it would be awsome with perfect distribution. The NOS
would be the oxidizer and the Propane the fuel. The
triple point of propane is fairly close to that of NOS
also.

It would not be that hard to engineer. I would but I
am not that interested for the amount of time I have.

If one of you wants to try, do the calculations first
to figure out what the metering should be, don't do it
monkey style. A NOS fogger nozzle should work but you
could machine a small aluminum pre mix chamber plenum
out of aluminum with converging gas flows for good
mixing, then have the mix go into a distribution block
with single port nozzles to be really trick.

I would like to try this setup on a Hot-Air. The main goal is good distribution and vaporation with the best intercooling effect possible. Anyone done this with a pre-mix chamber? I was thinking of starting with a fogger style 6" in front of the TB. Then try a direct port in the runners. I don't know if the direct port would have enough length to effectively intercool being so close to the intake ports.

I bet if I reply to myself a few times, someone might want to share their thoughts (and hopefully wisdom).;)

um ya, its already been done before, look up info about the BTR viper or vette
this is where the idea of propane injection came from

basically you are useing a wet kit with propane as the fuel.
you just need to get the jet sizes right, from what ive seen they are similair to what you would use when spraying gas.

um ya, thanks :D The leads to the websites were helpful. From what read earlier, I was actually thinking that the author suggested the nitrous/propane would mix in a special chamber and then the mix would enter the intake track farther downstream. The other "wet systems" mix the nitrous/(propane or gas)/boost at the same point. This topic is probably worthless, I just thought it might bring up some good discussion.
