Am I another victim of the junk?
Heres the deal
Ok, so my 1500 mile BILLET TCS 9/11 torque convertor seems to be shot.
I was gonna ship this thing out to be checked out before it went back in with my new engine and rebuilt CK Stage 2 trans. Well, I was draining the fluid out adn 3 chunks of this stuff fall out. I finish draining it and am holding it flat adn shake it side to side and it goes clunk clunk rather loudly. Here is a link to a scan of the pieces that fell out of it. Anyone know wtf they are and if it can be rebuilt/saved?

****It's hard to tell from the pic, but it almost looks like lockup disk clutch material. The only way to really say if it can be fixed is to cut the convertor open and see what went wrong. On a high dollar convertor like you have, it's very worth it to do so, especially since crap is falling out of it.

Don't even think of putting that convertor back into a transmission without having it inspected carefully. I destroyed a pretty high dollar transmission years ago by breaking some fins in a convertor and it ended up trashing the tranny, and making a huge mess.

oh it def wasnt going back in, I had already made plans to send it out to get cut open, JUST IN CASE thing. Could be LU stuff, about 1 week after it went in, the first time I used LU on the switch, it never worked again after that, hmmmmm

It looks to me like

Part of the conical washer that seperates lock up oil from the pump in the converter.
I would return it to whom it was purchased from , depending on time and warranty status. I have seen this before when dropped. Not that you did, just that is where I have seen it.
Like I said, contact the vendor and inquire.
