just finished complete overhaul on 2004r trans
i can get these gears but only with very high rpms, 2---3 you have to let off gas & hit it again, 3-4 70 plus mph, no lock up, installed Gill younger shift kit. TV cable is set plus i have tried it in most every position anyway so its not that adjustment. This trans has had this problem since day one 8 years ago, 6 overhauls, Removing a check ball in VB would make it shift but it would not be firm shifts and 3rd gear clutches would burn out quick. I want to keep ths car a # matching car or I would just put another trans in it. any help would be greatly appreciated!
