no brakes

just pulled into town and the brake light came on. The peddle became very hard and had to use the emergency brake to make it home .I checked the 30 amp fuse and it was ok .Also makes a little noise when i pump them, the resovoir is full so what could the problem be!

Or hydroboost. I already have vacuum brakes on my car but I'm going to switch to hydroboost.

I just pulled a brake peddle vac booster and master cylinder from a 85 culass.My friend said i should just buy new .what are your thoughts on this. thanks
