**Would appreciate if a mod would sticky this**

Ok guys, here's the deal. If you've been following any of the DP threads I've posted in, I can get the guy who originally made the TH TTA DP's to make more. He still has the jig and the program. He said he would only do a production run of about 10 or more. He also said he can't/won't make the elbows, so that put me in search of a source for them. I've found a source to purchase the flanges with the wastegate puck/assemblies already done, where all I'll need to do is find someone who can do the pipe work to make the elbows using my original elbow as the template. Based on numbers I've gotten from Buster for the pipes, and numbers I've gotten from where I can get the flanges/wastegate assemblies, then adding in what it will cost to get the pipe work done for the elbows, I'm guessing we can get these things done for about $450/ea. To be quite honest, I have no gain from this. I have my DP. I don't need one. If this never happens, no tears for me. I'm not trying to make any money on any of this, just trying to provide you guys with a source. So to make this happen, we'll need 10 committed and paid guys. I'll have to talk to Buster (making the DP) and whomever I get to do the pipe work for the elbows to get some idea of a time frame, but I would expect probably something in the neighborhood of 2 months or so for them to make them. So there it is, the cullmination of my efforts. If there's a vendor out there that wants to pick up a few to help get to 10, fine, but the price is the same to John Doe as it would be to a vendor. As I said, I'm not trying to make any money on these. They may come in under $450 depending on what it costs to get the elbows made. If you want one and are committed to that statement, please post in the list thread and PM me your contact information.

Thanks.

Ok guys, just got off the phone with the guy who's going to build the elbows so I have some new info and more solid numbers.

Mostly due to the small production number we're looking at about $525 + shipping for the 3" elbow with integral wastegate/puck assembly, 3" downpipe with 3" factory-style flex pipe at the bottom, ready to clamp/weld up to your catback or catlessback exhaust. This will also include the 3" exhaust band clamp to go around the slip joint where the elbow slides into the downpipe. These will be aluminized. They will NOT make them in stainless. These will be IDENTICAL to the TH TTA downpipe because the DP is actually being made from the same jig and bend file the original was made from, and the elbow is being made from an original TH TTA elbow.

For this to happen, we will need an order of 10. All 10 will need to be paid in full (we can wait on shipping charges until actual shipment) before production can begin. Once we have 10 paid orders production time should take 2-3 months for delivery. They will very likely finish them in just a couple weeks, however I'd rather tell people 2-3 months and deliver in 1 month, than tell you guys 1 month, and then it taking 2 months. So, that's the current update. As soon as we can get 10 dedicated orders, we can move forward on this, so the ball is in ya'll's court.

Why won't they make them in stainless? I've been kind of been on and off with the idea of buying one but I really don't have the money that I can pay up front without seeing a final product. I know Jason has been trying to find a vendor to buy a few which I think will be the best way to go. There's some people like myself who won't have the money until after tax time/ until summer to buy a downpipe.

To fit on the TTA, the pipe has so many turns and bends, the manufactuer won't make such a small quantity order in stainless due to the fact that stainless is so much harder to bend and tougher on the pipe bending machine.

The final product will be identical to the former TH TTA downpipe that you recently saw someone advertising here for $900 USED. Albeit, that one in stainless.

I've contacted John Pearcy and he is not interested in any. There are a couple vendors I have no interest in including for various reasons. It's a hard sell for the vendors because 1) This is being done at cost. I'm not, nor is anyone else making any money on this. So the vendor would pay the same price you would. 2) The vendor may sit on how ever many they buy for months, or even years before selling. John stated the whole time he carried/sold the TH TTA DP he only sold 4 of them.

I tried to buy one from john, he said he would ship it when he found a box. He found out they werent being made anymore and told me the one he was going to sell me wasnt forsale anylonger.

I now have a TTA THDP and a ATR DP
