Ok guys, i've tried re-connecting the ground wire on the wiring near the gas tank.......i've tried a new fuel pump relay.....to no avail. Something just keeps blowing my fuel pump/injector fuse....any ideas?...87GN

when i put in a new 307 pump, it died with in weeks and was blowing several fuses (hotwire and stock)

so it could be the pump is burnt up. not sure what causes that though...

Is it ground directly to the tank from the frame? If not try that.

How did this problem start? Just one day fuses started blowing?

yes it is grounded directly from the tank to the frame and it started yesterday(only) time. It just keep blowing the (one)pump/injector fuse.

Could someone tell me where i can get the walbro 340 fuel pump and a good hot wire kit?

I had that happen to me once way back in 89. Just died for no reason and I couldn't keep a fuse in it.

Turns out, I had a wire being chaffed by the chassis. I had run a hot wire back to the pump, and it somehow got pinched between the body and body mount and shorted to ground.

moral?

Check all your wiring VERY VERY carefully.

Might want to check for injector wire shorting out on hot egr valve.
I had the very same problem turned out the oil pressure sending unit was shorting out inside the sending unit.

Good luck,
