Got this done last night. I spent 2-hours in the seat, and was ready to be done...

The dog tags are for my father who past away a few years ago, and my uncle who past away during WWII.

Looks like both were born around WWII though, so I'm confused by the dates.

No matter, the work is truly impressive to me. And the idea is too. I may consider something like that if I ever get another tat. Never had a good enough idea for another, till yours.

The artist (Mark Evans) does incredible work. I took him a piece of paper listing the idea I wanted a few months ago and let him take it from there.

My uncle (my mother's brother) entered the Army at the age of 17, and passed on entering officer's training to be in the field. He was stationed in Germany with the 158th Corp of Engineers, building bombs. One accidentally went off one night... There's alot of unanswered questions that the Army has kept from the family...

My dad was a veteran of the Vietnam war, with the 101st Airborne division. He passed away May 2003 at the age of 57 from cancer.

Ohhh Yeah... The steel beam represents where I grew up, Bethlehem, Pa. Known for the home of Bethlehem Steel Co.

Kudos to you on the idea and to Mark for having the foresight to carry it through to a picture and then to apply it so well. It truly is impressive.
