no reverse

I was at the track, did a burnout, launced the car and it acted like the tires went up in smoke. I got it on the trailer but had to take the drive shaft off to get it off the trailer. No reverse at all. It will go forward. I could'nt back it up in neutral. What do I need to look for? AC built, AC9" thanks

I would like to fix it myself. I can't afford Art Carr any more. I just need some idea of what it could be.

Well, hurt and hurt bad. Take apart and it should be obvious. How old is it? And which Carr?

It was done a few years ago by the real one. It has been rebuilt twice since.
