razor, any ideas what maybe wrong with my recall on my sacnmaster 2.my old one was not showing any recall,so i bought another one,i needed to get the car ready for the track the next weekend, and the new one acted the same way.checking the tps numbers with key on,car off,it is set at .42 closed,4.78 open throttle.any ideas?i doubt 2 scanmasters would have the same problem.i've never had a problem with recall before.thanks

Whats happening is that its picking up interference. This more than likely due to grounding on the car.

The easy fix is running a 20 amp fused 12-14 guage power wire from the back of the alternator to inside the cockpit. Then use a Bosch style 30 amp relay to transfer power when the Ignition is switched on to the PAC controller.

Wiring of relay as follows. Terminals
30 to Alt
87 to PAC Red
85 to IGN terminal
86 to Ground

The above isolates the power from the PAC to the engine and will solve all issues. Or alternative.. start working on the engine/chassis grounds

You can try putting the RED lead from the PAC into another free IGN terminal and hook up the scanmaster Red to another switched power source away from the fuse box. Like the Radio.

Post back if that solved it..
