my 84 ttype sat in the grage for 2 years and the grage gnomes refused to fix it so I decided not to sell it (even tho I coulda broke even on it) and I started taking it apart Now I have to try to put it back together in the next few months. This is my winter project and I intend to bother all of you with alot of the same old ?'s. Buy the way, the crank needs to be turned on an otherwise solid engine so I havn't decided how much(little)to spend yet. First ? is why won't my gnomes fix my cars? I leave beer in the fridge, what more do they want? Tech ?'s to follow later

...them suckers won't touch mine neither! My only problem with my car being a winter project is the WINTER part! And the floor of my garage is about 9 feet above the street (can you say steep driveway?), and since I pulled the pan & 2 rod caps, I have no way to get it IN my garage now. It's parked in my parents back yard, and I guess that's where it'll stay for awhile

The gremlins only break things...

They have no intention of helping your car run on it's happy way. They need a place to play in... in your case two years worth so far... expect them to give you a hard way to go over the rebuild process.

Suggestion... a large hungry cat helps.

Mine has been garaged for 7 years, I tried the cats they just got paw prints all over the place and pi$$ed the dogs off. The problem I've run into is that the gnomes keep taking parts off the car. The car gets smaller and smaller, the piles get bigger and bigger, and the stack of reciepts too.

speaking of diets.....

I have a camaro on a diet like that but that is another story.My problem with the tr is putting it back with all its parts where they came from :O ,this thing looks mostly original and I hate that. If someone else has already messed it up, it wasn't me,so I can do whatever and not get blamed,,,,but if everything is there i gotta put everthing BACK. I really hate that. I hate when the summer project turns into the WINTER project and then back into the SUMMER project. I have tried the hungry cat also,the hungry dog,,,the hungry human. I think spiders are the trick to keeping out the mice, my grage has always had spiders and never mice. I guess it comes down to what do you hate more?I hate having to type all this....later
