i just wired up my fuel transducer,i used the 5v on the tps, wich im also using for my map sensor, wired signal to the powerlogger and i started car it idles real high.it gave a code22,i tested the voltage to the tps and nothing.where does the voltage to the tps come from

The 5 volt source comes from the ECM. If you have a short at the TPS connector, you run the risk of destroying the voltage regulator in the computer - which will affect the other circuits in it as well.

Remember, the MAP sensor is pinned: A - GROUND, B - Signal, C - POS 5V

While the TPS sensor is pinned: A - POS 5V, B - Signal, C - GROUND (assuming it's the 86-87 TPS, the hot air TPS, A and C are reversed)

If you should use the 5V source on the wrong pin of the MAP sensor, you'll take the voltage down, and probably fry the MAP sensor.

don't ever use black for a pos wire on a dc system, ihad the pos grounded,i got lucky this time.thanks for the reply,
