Well i took my trans to the local "expert" and had him install a non-lockup art carr 3300. and since then i have had to replace the flywheel because of rounded out holes
I figured that the dipwad didn't torque them right and they loosened up.
well now i'm getting the same tickin noise that says flywheel.
if he didn't convert the trans to a non-lockup what would happen?
would it f'up the flywheel or whould there be a difference?
shifting seems good and i havent noticed anything but a better spool up from my HUGE tool-70 turbo. :frown:

what could do this?

thank in advance

If you are saying that the convertor bolts keep backing out then I would replace them and put a dab of blue loc-tite on them. And make sure to get the correct bolts. If the flywheel bolts are loose them install new ARP bolts and be done with it. But lock up or not should not matter.
