Noobe Lock up question.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge in this area but im learning. Im wondering what is a better converter for the best ET a lock up or a non lock up? My mods are in my sig and im looking to go real low 10's maybe 9's with a tail wind. I also drive on the street so thats deffinitely a factor. Right now i have an Art Carr 9" 3400-3600 stall in there but dont think its a lock up. Whats better? larger diameter or smaller? Im new to this whole area so any fun facts will be greatly appreciated or even a tech page fro gnttype or something like that. Thanks alot.

we have PTS's 9/11 in Melissa's GN .. excellent street manners and has a LU for the gas milage .. this is a street beater driven every day ..wellll we try not to drive it in the snow
