Anybody had this problem before. My Norton has been working fine since I updated to the 2004 pgm, I Activated when I installed back in Jan...now all of a sudden the last month or so its been asking me to "ACTIVATE" it again like I've never done it before.
So I did and it works a few days then does it again....now when I try it says its been Activated too many times......what the heck..

Tried calling their support line and it basically says, sorry we are too busy try again later and hangs up.

Any suggestions for some better anti-virus software? If Norton has no helpful support I should start using some share-ware sw...what the heck am I paying for....
Thanks

Bought it from Office Depot.
After posting this I found a blurb on their support site that said if getting messages saying that the subscription expired but it should not have, then the Norton files could be corrupted and you should uninstall and reinstall the software. So enough though mine wasn't exactly saying it was expired, just that it needed Activating when it already was Activated....so I did that, and this time it let me Activate it successfully....
So, lets see how long it goes until it asks for Activation again.

You may have a Trojan that is hijacking the update for Norton that prevents it from getting through to Symantic's website. Are you running AdAware and Spybot Search and Destroy? Hijack this gets into it deeper. There are some online virus checkers too. Bit Defender is one.
