Who makes best NOS chip? Or is it better to use a reg chip and a hobbs sw to cut off nos @ 10-15#? I wanna spray it a little since there is 2 '03 Cobras on the prowl and I am gonna tangle w/them.
One made 440+ rwhp w/exhaust,chip pulley,and cai.:D

I guess your question kinda belongs in the chip section.

Dont know why your trying to cutoff spraying at 10-15 lbs? And hope you have good gas and a scantool to monitor knock. Stock turbo isnt going to spool any faster.

I can roast a cobra with my stocker and alky. Good luck with your decisions and tune.

Stock chip is 26 degrees timing.

Cranks are expensive...careful on the when and how.

Did not want to spray a full run-just to get out of the hole a little quicker. I have sprayed it w/75 on the street with 9# boost. I have a scan tool and race with race gas.
The one cobra went 8.38 1/8th w/2.3 60ft 87or88 mph all stock and granny shifting.

For the price you would pay to run NOS on the street you could be way ahead with some simple mods and tuning of your car. Think turbo and injectors.

sig

I run 7.90's in 1/8 with the free and cheap mods. Don't want to run nos on the street all the time. I'm gonna get a lot bigger turbo and injectors after the first of the year and Christmas "sticker shock" is over!
I just want a little extra when I need it till I get the bigger turbo and inj.:D I already have the kit-for about 10yrs,its on my 5.0 now in a dry set up(just nos through the maf). I tune my car myself and do all the work except tranny. I had it running 8.40's with stk chip in it.

Leave the NOS to the V8 non-power adder crowd. No sense having 2 of them on your car since you can run 9's with a single turbo and no nitrous. Please don't make the rest of us look bad.

?

 9's on my stock non capped non girdled stock block? LOL Don't have the excess $'s to throw down for the $700 turbo and $400 injectors. I already have the kit. A local guy here was running 7.0's in the 1/8 back in 89-90 with nos on his GN. People still talk about that car and he sold it in 91 or 92. People never make any bad remarks or say it makes thier Buick ot TTA look bad.
To each his own I guess. Looked at your sig and I'm a little faster than you;) . Dead heat BFG Radial TA's on, but I don't have Propane or the power plate.

The Dry kit will not work on the Turbo Buick unless you have a FAST or a different engine management.

not dry

The kit is the NOS kit for GN. I have it on my mustang and only spray nitrous through the maf in a dry shot. Like the compucar bag kit. It would work on the Buick like that but we know the maf "maxes out" and it is a long way through the maf, turbo, intercooler, then the up pipe. New term-"Nitrous Lag" LOL. You cant do over a 100 shot through the ford maf cause it will be maxed out(5v I think?)
Hmmmm- LS1 maf in the up pipe,Translator+,dry shot through the maf, that might work.
Too much work-just wait on the 54&inj upgrade!

Where's BOTLFED???

BOTLFED has gone over 50k miles with plenty of Nitrous being pumped through the V6, his car has been on a diet and I saw it do a 12.6 in vegas with the stock motor (STOCK, minus injectors) then saw him run a mid 11 with the 75 shot. He's got a dual nitrous set-up and didn't get a chance to run the "6-pack". Roll bars, cages, something to that effect..........

I bought a kit, to either put on my Iroc or on the TTA, but since they are both up for sale  . Anyways, I planned on running around 18.5° timing at WOT with a 75 shot, (28 Nitrous and 46 Fuel Jets) If I do end up selling them both, I might just run Nitrous, Alky and the 51 on the GN
