ok i just had the trans rebuilt and when i got it back they told me that the tv cable needed to be changed out they said thats why it wouldnt downshift well i changed out the cable and its still not downshifting when im on the highway .
when im driving around at slow speeds i can get it to down shift but as soon as it does it up shifts . also if i start off from a stop and give it w.o.t it will only rev up to 3000 - 3500 rpm then it shifts . i would of taken the car back today but ive been sick im just curious what can be causing this to happen is it in the valve body or is it the governor
