hey everyone. I was just in the garage for an hour or so, and I just finished rippin all the necessary crap off the motor to get it out. I got the wire harness off, and I have just one question...
is it supposed to be a painful experience pulling the DP out?
I mean, DAMN, it was hard to get under the poston headers. I tried pulling from top, and twisting at the same time, but that wasnt happening, so then I pushed from the bottom up...guess what.....NO WAY. So I looked at it for a minute, the figured, get it under the header. After I pinched my hand, middle finger, cut my arm, and knuckle, it twisted right out under the up pipe flange of the header...Question after that I had is, how the hell am I going to install a pipe that's three times it size!!!!???!!! lol. Anyway, Just a little FYI for those who have the stock DP and the Poston headers, go under the up pipe flange and it will come right out.

I found its easier to remove the passenger side header...Drop the downpipe from the top and re-install the header...Also, easier to remove the alt and put the ac compressor to the side and remove the alt/ac bracket so that it isn't in the way...Much easier to get to all the header bolts and gives a little more room to work...
