Notch top of cylinder bore

Does anyone have a template that I can use to notch the top of the cylinder bores and depth from top of block to help flow to the Intake and exhaust valves.

I saw that someone had this to offer but I don't remember where I saw it.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Turbodr1 is the guy your talking about. I saw the same thread, but I forget where. Maybe in the Fab section.

The factory head gasket will allow you to scribe a line......however, if you are using a differnet head gasket, you MUST use it to detirmine the cut. About .050" above the top ring is your depth.

I have no idea if it actually improves flow. I'm not rich so I don't have sophicated flow benches to prove that it works.

That is just what I needed, now to figure the cc's in the overall head cc will
be the trick.
Can't be more than 2-3 cc's for this operation wouldn't you say?
