Nothing ever just bolts up

So I had new turbo on bench, put my Elbow on and my WG actuator rod was like 1/2 inch off from lining up to the gate.

So once again my life story it was custom fab...errrr had to eyeball my angle i needed, took and put actuator plate in vice and beat it into submission...3 or 4 times of beat-N-test it finaly lined up.

And maybe if I had just spent the quid for the good 3inch with elbow it woulda bolted right up up ...but noooooooo I had to buy a used Postons, asked the right Q's, paid 130 and got a 3inch hacked in two with cutoff wheel with cobbled reducer welded on.

But it was all neatly packaged like that was gonna calm me down as i was holding up two sections of one pipe hacksawn in half...more custom fab, got it mocked up and tacked but man it was like opening up present on x-mas day and finding out you got the GI Joe without the kungfu grip or hell better yet how bout the Evil Knevil wind up bike with 2 flat tires.

In the end no need for me to run to the feedback page and slam although i really didnt get what i thought i was paying for, its just a good thing i got my easy mig from harbor fright...99 dollars on sale now good while supplys last

It's better than paying big bucks for new stuff that is supposed to fit but doesn't. BTDT.

yep so true like them chinese headers where the gasket was off on #5 i think.

Im not one to throw my tools so no biggie I just fire up the torches and heat and beat.
