For The Love Of God Is That Possible??? He Made $500,000 For Flipping That On Ebay??? I Don't Get It. I Feel Bad For The First Seller.

I checked the winning bidders feedback and found nothing about the sale for $500K, most of the things he bought were rare records and other low things. mabey this was just a prank?

If its a prank its pretty expensive. Since Ebay will take a % of the winning bid, so it would cost the guy a few hundred if not thousand $'s to "sell" it with out actually recieving payment. Also there was sure enough bids to make it look real,

Thats amazing, funny, and sad at the same time.

If it is true, it's funny that the original seller was such a moron and didn't do her research. I also kind of feel sorry for her. I wonder where she got the bottle from. I'll bet she thought she was making good money off her grandpa's stash.

Ya, sounds like collectordan knew exactly what he was bidding on (with a name like that, he probably did) , while the seller did not (assuming it's all legit).

thats just some crazy **** !!!

Dan did you save me a sip at least ??

I can't believe someone paid $500,000 for a bottle of wine... Hope he didn't DHL it:eek:

Thats funny..DHL...those guys guys could lose one of their planes in a walmart parking lot!

For $500,000 I would drive to wherever it was and pick it up.

nope!

i agree with Bill Ritter .......... sounds mighty fishy! the winning bidder had a total of 41 other ebay tranactions for around $20 apiece or less. and now he's buying a $500,000 bottle of brew!? how would you like to be owed half a million from a guy who's portfolio is highlighted by the purchase of a 12" vinyl LP entitled "BONGZILLA" on Modus Operandi Records????? better hope the runner-up bidder was legit and open to a 2nd chance offer.
