I was into Knight Rider way back in my single-digit years (partly explains why I like third-gen Firebirds) but I can't see owning a KITT car now. I feel sorry for the 82-84 CFI owners that only want some stock parts, like the black wheel covers.

I don't know why all the people feel sorry for the '82-'83 Trans Am guys, since everyone made got those wheels, pretty much!
The thing I see is, that most of the original owners got rid of them-FAST!
Now, they are worth money!
How many of the '82-'83s are still around?
There are bound to be spares somewhere!
Our WS6 caps are hard to find now too.
Caps don't last long, on any wheel.
Knight Rider helped Pontiac sell more Firebirds/Trans Ams those years.
Funny how sales dropped after the show went off the air.

My take,

George

True, true. I'd like to find a 15th Anniversary T/A (it would look nice next the the TTA) but I doubt I could find one for cheap. I'd settle for an 83 CFI T/A, though. I'm only missing a few of the black bolt caps, but I have a beater GTA I can rob.

Oh, oops, they didn't have CFI for '84, did they?
