o-ringed heads- difference in fire ring felpro 1000's, 944 ect?

i need some info here-

last night i helped some friends tear apart their newly aquired 87 turbo T engine

the previous owner had the heads o-ringed, and installed what i believe to be-
BLACK felpro with neoprime blue silicone imbedded into the head gasket- { i dont know the part #}

and i have heard and seen bad problems with those black headgaskets{wished i had part #}

Q- is the fire ring of that black felpro the same fire ring as the felpro graphite/stock head gasket??? { same exact deminsions}

i would hate to pull the heads off just ending up to install the same style head gaskets again-

and i want them to have the stock style graphite or the felpro equivelant graphite head gasket , as long as the oring lines up-
and believe the felpro gasket part number to be 944 ???

guys i really appreciate the help as always-
this engine has 6500 miles on it, and we are going to do another cyl leakdown to varify if the rings are still good-

The gaskets are 1007 Wire-Locs and I think the dimensions are different than the 9441's.
