o2 sensor adn leaded fuel

I am going to the track tomroow and I want to run leaded gas. Stupid me didnt buy an extra o2 sensor, adn now all the stores are closed. What is the proper way to use leaded gas with the o2 sensor? I know the gas is bad for the sensor. DO you leave your extra "race" sensor for the whole tank of leaded gas?? would it be okay if I just used the one thats on my car, drive to track, fill up about 7 gallons of leaded race gas. race for the day and then drive home?? then I am guessing I would jsut replace my o2 sensor with a new one after I burnt off all the leaded gas?? is this right?? I really want to run leaded gas tomorow and some high boost. thanks.

How old is you o2 right now? Do you got a scantool? By running leaded gas "won't" kill your o2 but not right away. I had my o2 (GM) for about 6 months and seen mostly leaded gas, and its still good and now I have a heated ford sensor in for about 6 month also and have mostly seen leaded gas. So I think you don't have to worry too much running leaded gas for one day. There is over 100 unleaded gas available.

Leaded fuel will kill the GM 1 wire sensor in about 10 passes down the track when starting with a new one. When it codes, your done.
