Like to replace the O2 sensor currently using with a classic FAST with a proper aftermarket O2. Anything out there that is reasonable and where to get it. Maybe P/N and brand? Run 116 through it most of the time.

thanks,
Mitch

02 Sensors

Hi Mitch
I have bought several from Ballenger Motorsports in Richmond VA. The ones for the Classic FAST are 250:00 but you then need to get a 02 file from FAST after giving them the box serial# because they have it locked. Your box may have the file now I don't know. I think it's about 100:00 more to buy the sensor from FAST. I didn't make a post because of the political BS of this BB.
If there not a vendor it's taboo to mention the company. Good Luck.

Lead and those NTK sensors is sure death.

Contact FAST directly.. you may throw money out the window if you get a non compatible sensor.

My memory serves me correctly there was a chip on the Classis sensors. That needed to be transfered to the new sensor and it would suppossedly work.

This is the main reason for the XFI..

Good luck.. I've been there looking at a 400 sensor years ago.. wasnt fun.

DO NOT TRANSFER THE RESISTOR! Although, this will allow the FAST to recognize the new sensor, it is the calibration for the sensor. They don't just put a randon resistor in each sensor. I have come across a couple of cars where they transferred the resistor and their O2 readings were off. You have about a 1 in 16 chance of it being the correct resistor.
If you can't find what you need, we sell the correct sensors with the universal calibration for both the Classic FAST and the XFI's.
