Hi guys im new to this site. im 16 and i just bought myself an 85 Ttype with the WH1 package on it and i was going to put a true dual exhaust on it. I was wondering if anybody has had any expeirience with this and knew how to get around the O2 sensor without putting a crossover pipe or something like that on it. Or if true duals will mess up my readings and screw with the air/fuel ratio. I actually havent really taken a real good look into it to see if the sensor is in the crossover right now or if i can just run it on one of the headers. Thanks for any help on the subject.:D

You cant run true duals as true duals mean you have one pipe coming off of each manifold going straight out to the back of the car, this being a turbo both manifolds go into one and then into your turbo to spool it. Then after the turbo and catalytic convertor you can split it into two like factory. Your O2 sensor is in your passenger side manifold before the turbo so there is no need to mess with it. I eliminated the mufflers on both my 85 GN's and other than the exhaust is stock. It sounds really good and isnt too loud. HTH

Like was already said, the only way to do true duals on a turbo car is to go the twin turbo route. The closest you can come on a single turbo is to split the exhaust after the downpipe. A single 3" downpipe that splits into a dual 2.5" exhaust will flow more than you will ever use.

thnx for the help
i think im going to just use a big down pipe and split it into dual 2.25 pipes.
