Has anyone got a line on a scan tool I can use with the ALDL in my 1984 GN?

I heard Daewoo makes a GM 12 pin to OBD1 OBD2 connector adapter. Anyone ever used this cable for a laptop connection on an 84 or 85?

i got an email because I was watching this thread and the email said that phonedawgz had replied - only this is; there is no reply.
From the content of the email I was encouraged to here that reddevilriver.com made the cable I was looking for. It is certainly pricier than the Daewoo version but I was willing to go for it until I checked out the software - TunerPro RT and it said it works with cars from 85 to 95. I am just a little leary that it won't work with my '84
phonedawgz - please reply here or PM me.

Thanx

84GN and proud of it

The nice thing about Tuner Pro RT is that it can be had free. HOWEVER, the bad thing is, IIRC it wont work with your car because no one has produced the required xdf or adx files needed for the software to "speak" 84/85 Buick.

Why don't you just get a old snap on brick.mt2500? They work fine& cheap
