I recently purchased a '87 Limited and this radio was included with the sale of the car and was packed separately as the owner installed a Pioneer CD headunit.
The prior owner said the radio worked fine but had ignition hum. The stereo guy I had do some work on my car said the ignition hum was probably caused by being wired to an aftermarket amp which was mounted under the seat.
The radio is in excellent condition and has the two metal side brackets.
There is a techni-car paper label on the radio with a hand written date of 11-30-90 but I have no idea if that is when it was refurbished, removed, etc.
