What they don't mention in the article is that the a-hole was traveling down north broadway in santa maria at a rate of around 100mph, this is a area littered with businesses and residents, small blocks, etc. While he was responding to an incident it gives him no right to put the public in that kind of danger imo. This was reckless and luck all he hit was a tree, not a group of people.

Glad the officer is ok, this will change his driving habbits.

Wow dude should play the lotto with his luck. Oh well sh*t happends. I wonder what his exact speed was...

Tell ya what, this is yet another sign of divine intervention. By who? I don't know, nor will I ever claim to know. I'm not "religious" (I'm a taoist) but I do acknowledge that someone or something is pulling the strings. It's soo totally obvious. From my days of ten speed racing with the Wolverines, (this is right before hardshell helmets were out for cyclists) it was taught to me, that it takes 4 feet to crack a human skull, from gravity alone. That's with no help from any external force. And for this officer to live, is nothing short of a miracle. To deny this, would be plain stupidity.
I agree though, that this officer will never drive this fast again. I give it up for all our brave officers, who like us, volunteer for a job soo dangerous, that it requires body armour, and a gun, to perform most of their tasks.
Keep up the good work, but don't kill yourselves guys. Make it home alive.

I just noticed the sheep in Flacos signature... lol. The guys in my old platoon would love that lol.

Don't forget to give it up to the people that he could have hit being a reckless a-hole...

I feel ya, but, I'll say one thing. When I call the police, I want him to speed that fast to my call lol.
