oil and filter

Well new to the GN cars.... I own a 87 thats a driver. I went to buy a oil filter for it but it is too small, after researching it I see you can put a bigger filter on them. Anyone have the # for it. The one on there is warn out. Also what type of oil should I be using in this car? Thanks for any insight.

rotella t 15/40 and stp oil treatment for added extra zddp protection and pf 52 filter

get the NAPA or Wix equivalent of the PF52- i think if you look up a mid 90's Corvette, you will get the right number.
of course, there is always the option of getting the adapter from RJC that allows the use of the bigger Buick V8 oil filter that they should have used in the first place.

You may already have the Biggie Adapter on the car, in which case you could use one of the filters listed on this page: (RJC Biggie Oil Filter Adapter)

I have the Napa (gold) filter on mine now, # 1036, equivalent to the AC PF-52

Not everybody, do a search and you will find alot of opinions on this subject and zddp.

I use the the 52, but the version with the anti-drainback valve on it since the filter is on it's side.
