oil capacity??

on the oil level stick it says its 5qts...but on the http://www.gnttype.org spring cleaning it says its 6 qts...what one is it?

it should be around 6 with a pf52 filter, 5 with the stock pf47. i use the biggie filter adapter with a pf24 and i use 6.5 quarts.......

NO WAY HOSIE that a pf-52 takes a quart more!!!

IT may be 5-8 ounces of oil more TOPS

TAKE A LOOK AT A PF47 , THEN TAKE A LOOK AT A PF52, THEN TAKE A LOOK AT A QUART OF OIL<


POUR IN OIL UNTIL THE DIP STICK SHOWS THE CORRECT LEVEL

i know it doesnt look like it, but i know with a pf52 the car takes 6 quarts, maybe a 47 is 5.5????

I just put in about 5 & 1/3 ( that's about all I ever use )with a PF52 and the dipstick reads near the top of the "full" area. I even let the car down off the jackstands to drain so I think I got as much old oil out as I could. My driveway is slightly sloped so I'll double check the level at work on Monday but I'm sure it's good
