I am having a problem with my 87 GN.

First, the Oil/Choke light seems to keep coming on, I'm guessing as a result I am constantly blowing the 15 amp fuse that controls the fuel pump/inj.

I just changed the oil yesterday, so it is not low on oil.

What else could cause the Oil/Choke light to come on?

Could these two problems be linked, or is it more likely that I keep blowing this particular fuse because a wire is hitting/touching something that is causing the blowing of the fuse?

I will change the fuse, start the car, and shortly after starting the car the Oil/Choke light will come on and then the car will just cut off, after shutting off, the same fuse seems to be blown. I have gone through many fuses at this point, and I am looking for some guidance.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Im assuming you have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. if you do you probly just left the wire that goes to the stock oil pressure sensor just hanging there. If that wire shorts out, then your fuse for the injectors will blow and you will see your oil/choke light on. look on the right side (pass. side) of your engine near the front where the oil pressure sensor/switch is at and trace that wire. make sure its not shorted.

first thing first do you have a oil pressure gauge. if you do just unplug the factory idiot light sensor and press on.
