I've noticed that no one ever talks about putting an oil cooler on our non oil cooler setup! I can't understand why you would not install one on a turbo car? I have installed one on my car and got very good results. Anybody out there have the same modification?

I put on a Derale oil cooler from Summit several months ago with no problems at all. Brad

i just dont think anyone talks about it. i have been running a oil cooler on my car for atleast 6 years. I got the adapter and lines off a 87 and put a 87 radiator in the car and have been running it that way ever since. There is no harm is cooler oil that for sure. I have the 87 oil cooler and lines into the radiator, PTE Oil Saver (big filter with huge lines and feeds clean oil to the turbo and reloctes the oil filter) i also have the RJC deep pan and a high vol. front cover. Some people will argue that you dont need it but does it hurt anything? No cool oil is happy oil

I have and use one.

A B&M Supercooler oil cooler. works great. comes with an oil cooler adapter just like the IC cars and everything. Great idea for our cars IMHO.

sorry about that. You want to keep your oil as cool as possible.

oil cooler

One thing it helped with is my lifters stopped ticking when I would get off the freeway. I would check the oil after a hard run and it seemed to turn the oil into water; But after i installed the b & m supercooler It kicks ass; It would start trying to retard the timing when it ticked but now it works great. Just one thing it would help with.

here's the one I did just before putting the car up for the summer
