Feb 28, 2009 #2 P princess New Member Joined Oct 29, 2004 Messages 81 easy thing to do is just put a bead of silicone at the base of the lip of the dip stick & let it dry before installing it, that way you can remove it several times before having to replace it. that is the way I have done it for years, & no leak.
