oil filter adapeter???

Im leaking oil and mechanic said its coming form the oil filter. Told i needed a oil filter adapter if so where can i find one?

i to have this problem. in my 87 regular regal. i really dont know what the issue is yet. but im going to swap out motors any way for a grand national motor. is yours a regular regal or turbo regal.

I have information that this problem can be fixed simply by using a thicker O filter ring rather than replacing the oil filter adapter. I would try this first before spending the money on a replacement oil filter adapter. Brad

I have a Turbo regal.
@ Brad would u happen to know where to purchase one at or the size of the o ring . The Mechanic said it was missing! And having a hard time finding one for our cars

take the adapter into a parts store and find an o ring that fits.
