My throttle body has oil in it. Is it time for a new turbo? Or is this acceptable, the car is running really well. I look forward to your helpful advice.

Any chance it's coming from passenger side breather? That's where mine came from.

Factory vent tube from valve covers intact? Oil in the intake was a feature of that thing.

PCV leaking?

Aminga, I added the valve cover breather. Im not too mechanically inclined.. sorry for the dumb question, can it still be intact?

This is the little tube that goes from the passenger valve cover to the turbo inlet.

that was the first mod I made to my GN 20 years ago! eventually tho, I had to rebuild the turbo and replace bearings and oil seals. Surprising easy task except for drilling and retapping the seized case bolts!

I'm using the rjc check valve that I purchased from Dennis. For my car, it has to be ran in series with the stock Pcv valve in place. Without the stock Pcv , my blm's are really high. I run 27# of boost with no issues with the rjc valve and stock Pcv. The rjc valve isn't metered, that's why you need the stock Pcv to be in place. I still get a little oil in the vacuum block on top of the throttle body, but it's not much at all. The rjc valve and my catch can takes care of 90% of the oil and the Alky keeps every thing clean internally that gets by the catch can and pcv's.

Look for oil in the intercooler, this could confirm if there is an issue with the turbo. Otherwise, it could just be from the PCV. I added a small oil-water seperator in line with my PCV and now have a clean TB.
