I cleaned my intercooler out last weekend, car is original with the rocker cover breather hooked up to turbo. Had alot of oil in the turbo outlet to intercooler. Cleaned it out with a paper towel. Removed metal pipe from rocker cover breather and put a rubber cap with a clamp on the turbo. I have oil in the turbo outlet to intercooler again after driving it the last 2 days. Could I be lucky and this is left over oil from when the breather was hooked up :) or is the turbo seal bad on that side of turbo?:frown: . Car doesn't smoke at all.

Thanks,
Eric

get some gasoline and dump some in your innercooler and shake it around and dump out then repeat till clean then fill with water shake and rinse till clean then ateatch shop vac blower side and blow it dry for an hour then install if it keeps up then your turbo is blowing oil from the outlet.

I'm sure it's the turbo outlet seal after looking at it more. Oil is all the way up to the throttle body. The oil is clean, I just changed the oil and filter last Wednesday.

Thanks,
Eric

If you haven't cleaned the intercooler yet, do that first. As suggested, you would need to remove the intercooler to clean it properly.

Hope this helps.

This is after cleaning the intercooler. Turbo has about an 1/8 of an inch or more shaft play when moved in and out.

Thanks,
Eric

The seal or bearings must be leaking pretty bad because the turbo to intercooler hose won't stay in place, clamps slide off. I'll have to have the turbo rebuilt.

Thanks,
Eric
