When I installed my biggie oil filter adapter I removed the cooler adapter, cleaned the mating surfaces and installed a new o-ring. The sucker is leaking slightly. I read or heard somewhere that there is a slightly thicker o-ring avail to get rid of this problem? Anyone know where I can find one? Thanks!

The stock o-ring size should be fine. Did you check:

-- oring has no nicks , cuts, or scratches?
-- use new stock size oring. original orings can "flatten" or "harden" , inhibiting sealing properties.
-- metal sealing surfaces for scratches. If found, emory paper/crocus cloth to re-polish.

Had the same problem with the oil cooler and the Biggie oil filter.

Kirban carries a thicker version. But found the same thing at Napa for less $$$.

I checked a few parts places. The GM seal is 2.25mm and the aftermarket ones are 3.5mm. I hope that isn't too much thicker. I'm almost inclined to order one from kirban to see it's size. The o-ring kit from napa was 3.98, not much savings! :)
