Oil Pan bolt holes

So my Fastenal guy got me new bolts for my oil pan, but I don't think they are going to work. He got 1" and I just compared to stock and it looks like the stock one is 7/8 but the tip is tapered down so the threaded portion is really only 3/4. Is there any extra room in the block or should I go with 3/4"?

I doubt they'll work but the only way to know for sure is to try. I send out 3/4" with my pan kits.
