All right, I've had it with my oil pan gasket. Is there an easy way of changing it? Also, is rear main seal possible to change with out pulling motor?

Use the write-up on gnttype.org for the rear seal. As far as the oil pan gasket, use a cork gasket and a little rtv to stick it to the pan. That way you dont have to mess with the gasket while getting the pan into position.

Kirban sells a thicker cork oil pan gasket that seals extremely well.

A neat trick when installing the gasket is to use a little bit of thread to hold the gasket in place in several places until the bolts are in, then cut the thread and remove prior to final tightening.

Yes, tie the gasket to the pan at several of the bolt holes, but leave the rear part untied because the gasket will have to be sitting inside the pan at the rear in order to clear the flywheel when installing the pan....once past the fly wheel, just reach in and pull the rear part out....while the front and sides are tied to the pan.....install a few bolts and then cut/remove the string where the gasket is tied to the pan.
