Seen it used at work before, takes the special pliers that spin right ? How would I use it in this application because I can deff get hold of the wire and pliers if needed.

What is the right replacement oil pump pickup? I have a 20 bolt pan looks to be 5 1/2 inches deep. Napa sells 3 different ones 5 3/8 seems to be the closest. Is this the right one?

I use a 1/4” drive socket & extension. Good & tight w/ loctite

If that joint leaks you’ll get air sucked into the oil pump. Makes for a poor oil pressure situation where oil pressure actually drops with increasing rpm
