Oil pressure paranoia

No, not low oil pressure... can my oil pressure be too high?
I have been informed that my car has been fitted with an oil pressure booster plate or something to that extent. And at about 2200 rpm my gauge reads about 75 psi. The accuracy of the gauge may also be in question, but it is a relatively new autometer ultralite(electrical).

Sounds like it has the stiffest bypass spring in it. If this is fully warm pressure, then perhaps a lighter bypass spring might be in order.

Yeap, plus, what weight oil are you using? 10w-30 is recommended
